"I'm supposed to protect her! We're meant to be together! She needs me!" - Yango
Yango is a young boy who met Nakiami on her journey to Tessik Village. Like Akiyuki Takehara, he is Xam'd.
Appearance[]
He is a fourteen year old boy who wears a short, green cape around his shoulders, a black shirt, a blue-marine, loincloth arm guard on his left arm, a beige, baggy pants, and black, loincloth shoes. He also wears a red scarf around his neck from his mother.
He has brown hair and turquoise eyes and has a giant scar across his eye.
Personality[]
Yango is a troubled teenager with a strong abandonment issue. When Nakiami gave him some money and told him to take care, Yango said that she just wants to get rid of him just like everyone else. He has a deep distrust with other people and assumes the worst of people because of his upbringing as a street orphan.
However, he is also kind and compassionate to others. He cares deeply of Nakiami. When he witnesses a Tessik member being unable to bring 20 whyguria (Unsure of the spelling. It's the measurement for how much something weighs.) of Blibily(?) flower to the ship because he is a tessician and tessicians, being a second class citizen of the Northern Government, can only carry 10 whyguria, Yango pretended to be the Tessik's little brother so that it would count as two people's cargo.
History[]
Yango was was orphaned at an early age when his parents died in a train accident during the Tessik bombings. Yango was the sole survivor of the accident and ended up becoming a Xam'd shortly thereafter. For the next few years following the bombings, Yango wandered on his own, living on the streets and stealing to survive.
Nakiami met Yango when he was stealing an apple from a small stand owner. After noticing that Yango was stealing from his stand, the shop owner begun to chase him and Nakiami followed suite. After running into a discreet alley way, Yango unleashed his Xam'd arm and beat the shop owner unconscious. After witnessing this, Nakiami bandaged the arm with the Hiruko eye and made him promise to never use his Xam'd powers for another act of passion ever again.
